Recommended Taxi Company in Paris

Taxi's G7 is a solid company-confirm desired payment method and fare before getting in. They do offer an English speakers line.

You may know this already but taxi fares between the airports and Paris are fixed. The cost for a taxi from the hotel to the airport will be 50€ or 55€ depending on the hotel's location, plus the dispatch fee, which will be either 4€ or 7€. There is no need for a recommendation for a taxi company for the ride from Gare du Nord to your hotel because if you take a taxi, you will wait in the regular taxi line and get into the taxi that is available when you are at the front of the line. Be aware that there have been some reports of taxi scams at Gare du Nord so you want to make sure that you go to the official taxi line on Rue Maubeuge and that you know that it is a metered rate and not a negotiated or fixed rate. If you are taking Eurostar, make a right at the front of the train to get to the taxi line. I also used the G-7 Taxi to return to the airport. You can reserve the taxi the night before. I did it on my phone app. They will place a charge on your credit card as a hold. Then after the ride, the actual charge will be made. The first charge stayed on my credit card as pending for a few days and then went away.

Note. You do NOT confirm the cost of the ride getting in a cab because except for the airports the charge is metered. The meter should go on when you get in. If the cabbies suggests a fixed fee, he is cheating you.
