Recommended restaurants in the Perigord region?

Hi everyone, my daughter and I are staying at La Bard Montford in Vitrac in the Perigord. Could anyone who’s been here fairly recently suggest a lovely restaurant with yummy food that’s not too expensive? Not too expensive equals somewhere in the 20+ euro range for a meal 😊

Within a reasonable distance from La Barde Montford (about a 10-minute drive) and in your price range, I suggest La Traverse Chez Les Filles in the village of Cénac-et-Saint-Julien.

Another option: Delpeyrat restaurant in the village of Carsac-Aillac.

Both of these establishments also operate as hotels.

A more upscale option, which I don't personally frequent: "Le M de Rochebois." It has a pool, beautiful gardens, cocktails, brunch, and all that jazz. It's expensive but lunch might fall within your price range if you are willing to pay a bit more for the setting. It’s up to you.

Your host will surely be able to give you plenty of other good recommendations.

Very close to Vitrac (La Roque Gageac) is Les Courtines. We had a lovely, reasonably-priced lunch with fresh ingredients and sat outdoors with a view of the river. I highly recommend it!

Just to clarify, in case it makes a difference, Les Courtines only serves cold food, such as salads, tartines and charcuterie boards. It's an excellent option for a lunch, but you shouldn't expect hot, cooked meals if that's what you're after.

Oh yes, JoLui. I should have specified. But everything was delicious there! The open faced sandwiches were a treat!
