This Saturday I will be in Tours in the Loire. I will be visiting two wineries and then the guide will be dropping me off near the train station, but I will have 2-3 hours to kill before my train back to Paris, about 4-6pm. Any recommendations of what to do, that will be walking distance to the train station? I do love wine, so perhaps there is someplace in town for more tasting? Or other places I can visit in town that will be open? What can I do in Tours that is more unique to the area (as I will be in Paris for the remainder of my trip)?
You guys are the BEST; this forum has been so helpful in planning this trip, and I plan to share everything I have learned when I get back!
