Hello,
I'm going to be in Paris in particular in the latin quarter and I would like to know if any of you have any recommendation for Restaurants and/or boulangerie in that area.
We enjoyed Les Philosophes, a bistro. But our favorite was Miznon, an Israeli restaurant that has amazing ratatouille and roasted cauliflower with tahini sauce.
I like Le Petit Chatelet on the Left Bank across from Notre Dame, next door to Shakespheare & Company. A little further walk on Ile de La Cite at Place Dauphine is La Rose de France.
Eric Kayser has wonderful bread and pastry. 14 Rue Monge, 75005 Paris, France maison-kayser.com
Tavline is a good Israeli spot - much better than carbonized cauliflower.
You'll find Eric Kayser almost everywhere.
I can recommend Le Volcan restaurant at 10 rue Thouin for a traditional French dinner at a moderate price. http://restaurant-levolcan.fr/?lang=en
For casual meals, drinks and late night, Place de la Contrescarpe has several choices. The one we liked is named after the Place: Brasserie La Contrescarpe
