Thanks for the feedback. I've seen lots of positive comments about Overlord Tour, and it's good to hear one more positive user experience on their tours.

Us too! We had Overlord and William as a guide.......did the Omaha and Utah Beach tour and it was well worth the $.

I also have had a very good experience with Overlord tours and would recommend them highly. Several years ago Olivier from Overlord met us in La Havre with a van as we completed a Baltic cruise. Four of us had a full day of touring the Normandy area and Olivier was a great guide. We finished the tour in Bayeux.

As for other Bayeux recommendations, I'll add one for Hotel Churchill. Also, La Rapiere was a wonderful restaurant a short walk from the hotel that I would also strongly recommend.

We had Pierre too! He was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. There wasn't one question from our group that he could not field.

So good to hear! I have the Overlord B of B tour booked in early October for my sister and I. She's never been (it'll be my 5th visit to the area), and I hope she enjoys and appreciates it as much as I do!

I toured with Overlord and they are great,they give you a lot of insight on the events of D Day and we also stayed at the Hotel Churchill.
