Recent experience of KAT tour

How early do you have to get to Versailles for the 9:30 KAT tour. Does anyone have recent experience of this? We are thinking of 9 am for perimeter security/bag check -- does anyone have recent experience to share on this? How long is the perimeter bag check at 9 am?

Jane, I wish folks would respond to your question. As you know, I, too, am interested in this. Hopefully this will bump it up and someone will let us know.
