RE: Solo travel from Antibes to Florence Mid May by train or bus

Hello, Does anyone have constructive ideas on convenient travel between these two towns?
I have not found concrete details,-cost and itinerary- on any sites I have looked at. Should I be looking at flying there?
I would prefer to see the country side and arrive directly in town.
Thanks for any assistance, CC

I don't recall that there are many flights on this route, but try either Pisa or Florence airports at www.skyscanner.com.

Trains take 8 hours and 2 connections, at the border and then at Genoa or Milan, which is the usual way of travel in this region. How to Look Up Train Schedules and Routes Online gives you the DB train schedule link and tips for using it. Tickets can be cheaper if you lock them in soon.
