We'll be in Paris for a few days. In the past, we walked everywhere without limitation. But I have some limitations now and we'll be lucky to cover 6 miles on foot. I need a back up plan.
I downloaded the RATP Bonjour App so we can use public transit. But sometimes I am just too tired to get to the transit - when I'm done walking, I'm done.
So if public transit is my Plan B, I want to have a Plan C. When I downloaded the Bonjour App for RATP it also prices out routing on something called Marcel.
Has anyone used Marcel? I'm intrigued because it's giving me a price for a trip - vs. in a cab where I can't tell how much the fare is going to be.
What's the best and simplest App for calling a car for a last minute ride? Uber? LeCab?
These will be shortish rides around the main tourist areas of Paris - nothing over 6 km.
I'm looking for a way to know what price the ride will be, if possible. I know public transit is cheaper - but sometimes I will just need to shell out the extra money.
Thanks!!
