We leave for CDG on Tuesday, September 9th. We have rail tickets from CDG to Arles on September 10th. On september 18th we have rail tickets from Bourdeaux to Rouen. Both are strike/disruption days. Please advise us about how to handle this situation.
1. Should we make alternative travel plans now? If yes, please suggest alternative travel means (air, bus, etc).
2. Is there a way to get reimbursed for our rail tickets?
Any advice will be much appreciated.

What luck.
Yes. I suppose you cannot easily change your flight, but expect general chaos in Paris on the 10th. If you are arriving on the 10th from an all-night transatlantic flight, these flights tend to complete, but getting from CDG into Paris might be challenging. Be flexible, probably start with a Taxi Parisien from the airport (no strike announcement so far from taxi drivers), be ready for backup plans to inclue Roissybus, RER B, Uber, FreeNow, and Bolt.
This depends upon the type of tickets you purchased. If you find that your train Rouen train is cancelled, start early and just hop on any train you can. There may not be seats but some trains will still run.
Wait until the 8th and the 16th, 2 days before the strikes, before any useful information will be available. Up until then, it is all a guess. Monitor these websites:
