Quillebeuf-sur-Seine Ferry, Normandy

We are planning 5 day drive around Normandy. One route I planned has the ferry at Quillebeuf-sur-Seine. Does anyone have knowledge of wait time, reservations needed? I also notice two bridge route A29 and at Trancarville. Are either of these tolls?

The tolls on both bridges are small, 2.60 at Tancarville and 5.40 at Normandie, so I would take the bridges. The scenery at Quillebeuf is sadly entirely industrial, so the ferry crosses into an area with huge refineries and chemical plants. No waits, no reservations, though.
If you do want to cross the Seine by ferry, and if it fits in your route, I highly recommend the crossing at Jumièges (continuously shuttles to and fro, no wait), with a visit to the ruined abbey of the same name - an extremely atmospheric sight.

Is Rouen your starting point? If so and maybe that’s altready your plan you can follow the D982 to the abbeys of Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville, Jumièges and Saint-Wandrille. From the latter you can take the toll free Pont de Brotonne for driving to the D65 for following “Route des Chaumières (Cottages)” to Aizier, Vieux-Port and Marais Vernier. Especially the route through the mentioned places is very scenic.

Crossing the Seine by ferry is fun to do, you can do that near Jumièges as Balso says and drive to the Route des Chaumières at the other side of the river. In this case you can skip Saint-Wandrille, but the abbey with the village is so lovely, it’s to my opinion worth a detour. Know that there are whole lot of 50 and 30km/h speedlimits so take enough time for the trip.
