Does anyone have any recommendations/experience renting a car in Amboise and dropping it off in Bayeux? I'm having problems finding an agency with a location in Amboise and Bayeux, and I'm curious if anyone has done this before. From Bayeux, I'll be heading to Paris, so if it makes more sense to drop the car off closer to Paris I can do that.

Since Auto Europe does not return any results for the Amboise & Bayeux combo, and they do work with several suppliers, then I'd try a different combo. For instance, Auto Europe reveals that you could pick up at Tours TGV rail station with Hertz and drop in Bayeux. Or you might find more choices if dropping in Caen.

I have experience with the dropping off part. This past summer we rented a car from Hertz in Paris and drove to Bayeux. To drop off there is a little weird, you do it at a gas station, but it was easy and the attendant was very nice. We ended up having a good experience with Hertz.
