Question regarding hop on, hop off busses in Paris

I see two different companies offering this type of service and was hoping for some input regarding either or both.

Parisopentour.com is one. It has 4 different lines. My question is (and I couldn't find the answer on their website), for the ONE day pass, can you use one or all 4 of these lines if we so choose? I can't imagine doing so but the buses run from morning to night and I was wondering if that one day price included any and/or all of the lines.

The other bus I saw was Big Red Bus. This looks like it only has one route and hits many of the POI. It is only a few euros cheaper for the one day pass.

L'Open Tour has 4 lines and you can use the 1-day pass for all 4 lines. Actually, you can get a 2-day pass for just a few euros more than the 1-day pass. You do not need to buy the pass in advance. It can be bought from the driver at any stop when you get on. Keep in mind that these are good for an overview and to see sights you might otherwise not get to, but they are not an efficient way of getting around Paris -- for that either the Metro or your feet are the best bet. The HOHO buses do get bogged down in traffic, and if it is raining, the open top level isn't very pleasant. However, I have done the L'Open Tour on a 2-day pass and enjoyed the experience.

We will play the HOHO buses by ear, especially if there isn't fear of them being totally booked. We will be in Paris with our RS tour and I have a feeling we'll feel pretty okay about getting around the city by ourselves on our last 2 post-tour days. I did think the vantage point of being in the open air bus would be good for pictures of the sites but perhaps it won't be needed. We already have 2 day Paris Passes for those post tour days.

This is a good way to get oriented to Paris on your first day. Sit on top with a map and ride the whole circuit.

Have used the 2 day open tour and you get a much better perspective of the city. You can transfer

between all 4 lines. You might be surprised at some of the places you see along the way.
