Question for those already in France

So I submitted my request for a QR code on 8/10/21. Everyone I'm traveling with has theirs back but I have not received anything as yet. I've resubmitted the application and even tried resubmitting from a different email. I've emailed the address provided for additional assistance as well - but nothing. I have no idea what is wrong so given that today is Friday and I am leaving tomorrow I would like some feedback from someone who is there about a few things:

1) Prior to this week CDC cards were still being accepted but now with this process in place I'm not sure that is still true. Can someone confirm what they are experiencing in the last few days? Restaurants, cafes, tourist sites, trains? I did verify with my hotel that they will still accept my card.

2) Does anyone there in France have a suggestion on a place I can call to follow up. Emails seem to go into a black hole. Maybe speaking to someone live would be helpful.

I do realize I can test to get the QR code but obviously would rather not spend my vacation getting nose swabbed every other day. If the cards are still being accepted I would have a little more peace of mind.

This is a long shot, but you can write to the député who represents French citizens in North America. He was instrumental getting a system set up. One of his employees will read and hopefully make a call and answer you. Just tell them what you've told us. He has always been reactive to his constituents, so I hope his office would help an invited visitor.

But HURRY, it's 3 pm here at the beginning of a holiday weekend. His name is Roland Lescure.

Bets, thanks so much. I saw your email on my phone when I was at the store and rushed right home. At this point I will try anything. Just so disappointed that no one will even respond to tell me if there is a problem - but out of my control so I will just do what I can.

Thank you again!

We have been in Paris since Aug 6th and return back to the USA in a few days. We have had no problems showing our CDC card with our passport at restaurants or museums.

We’ve been in france since the 1st. Emailed for the PS on the 10th. I got my email approval with everything except the QR code! My wife hasn’t received anything yet. We’re at CDG now headed home so we gave up and have used our CDC card with passport successfully everywhere.

BTW - be careful. As we arrived at our restaurant last night another couple was going crazy because the husband’s backpack had been stolen while they looked the other way. Wallet, passports, everything!!! Be careful.

I’ve been in Paris staying in the Marais. I was worried because I didn’t receive my pass sanitaire, but I haven’t had any issues using my CDC card. In fact, a couple of places didn’t ask for any proof whatsoever, which made me feel kind of uncomfortable.

I’m writing this from a OUIGO train that I boarded at Gare de Lyon. Most of the gates are unmanned and you’re supposed to swipe your ticket and pass. But I found one that was attended. The ticket taker looked at my pass and immediately gave me an “allez y.”
