Question about the one hour ticket in paris

I believe that the book of tickets you buy for public transportation in Paris are good for one hour (you can change from metro to bus or vice versa for one hour). Question is about the details. If you use the pass at say 10:00 for a bus, and then get on the metro at 10:59, is the pass good until you reach your destination or will it expire one minute after getting on the metro?
Thanks in advance

t+ tickets are good for 2 hours on Metro/RER and 90 minutes on the bus/tram, but not for transfers between the bus/tram and Metro/RER systems. From the RATP site.

The t+ ticket allows you to travel using the metro, the RER in zone 1, the Île-de-France region’s bus lines (except Orlybus and Roissybus), the tramways, and the Montmartre funicular.
The following transfers are possible:
metro/metro for 2 hours, following validation;
metro/RER and RER/RER within Paris, for 2 hours between the 1st and last validation;
bus/bus (including transfers between the RATP and OPTILE networks), for 90 minutes between the 1st and last validation;
bus/tram and tram/tram, for 90 minutes between the 1st and last validation.

they are not timed tickets, they are tickets good for one ride. You can transfer underground on the metro -- one to another, but as soon as you leave the station, even if after 10 minutes, the ticket is done.

On the bus you can travel to one destination and transfer bus to bus to make that possible. You cannot hop off and then get back on the same bus route or use it to return.

You can transfer between metro and RER. and between bus and tram, but not between train and bus

Some places have timed tickets where you can ride during a time frame -- the Paris tickets don't work like that.
