I will be traveling in France in late July and am looking into train tickets to get me from CDG Airport to Quimper. The SNCF website shows a "Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (TGV station - CDG 2" and a "Charles de Gaulle Airport 1 – RER (CDG Terminals 1-3)" as starting points. Which do I want? I will be flying into CDG from Atlanta on Air France.
There are no trains from CDG to Quimper.
The trains to Quimper all leave from Paris Montparnasse station.
An alternative would be to first take a train from the TGV station at CDG2 to Rennes, then a train to Quimper, but the connection is typically poor (i.e. long), and there is only one suitable train to Rennes per day anyway.
So, head to Montparnasse first, and look at tickets from there. Allow 4 hours between landing at CDG and train departure from Montparnasse.
Thanks! This is helpful information.
