QR codes when traveling together

10 days away from my trip arriving in Paris. Wife and I are traveling together. I submitted for Covid certificates in two separate forms (but same email address). Her’s arrived 2 days after submittal, mine hasn’t yet (4 days after). The only difference that I can detect is that my passport was recently renewed and wasn’t signed like her’s… otherwise it doesn’t make sense.
I probably won’t stress until I’m 4 days away… QUESTION- has anyone had a similar issue or know why this may be the case? Anything I should do?

Either way, at least one of us will get to enjoy everything. Super excited and I plan to post what it’s like there in 2 weeks for the benefit of other’s traveling in Sept.

Jay, I submitted both our applications on Monday for an 11 Sep arrival (though we're actually heading to Europe two weeks earlier). Used same email account to send them and haven't so far gotten either. I may resubmit mine from a different email acct next week if we haven't received them by then. You might do the same. Will try to post if we finally get them.

Is there a reason you didn’t sign your passport when you received it? It’s my understanding that the passport is not valid until signed.

Oversight. I didn’t realize it wasn’t signed until I looked at two forms and tried to understand the difference. I may re-submit with a picture of a signed passport… but it seems like there would be some correspondence if it was rejected?

Jay, I think I would resubmit it. I don’t know what specific things they are looking for when they get the documents. Are they checking for the passport signature? Not sure, but when I read that yours wasn’t signed, that was a red flag for me. It’s not valid without that signature, so that could be a reason for them to reject your application. I also don’t know if they are informing people if there application has been rejected and why. So, since your trip is soon, I would suggest you resubmit it with a note stating you previously submitted but neglected to sign you passport.

Good luck!!! And have a great trip!!!

Edited to add: By "resubmit it" I mean the application and all the supporting documents.
