I've just discovered part of an unused carnet of purple "t" tickets under my part carnet of white "t+" tickets (Paris). Are the purple ones still any good? Does the fact that the plus is missing mean "no transfers" or something? Thanks in advance
nigelI went to www.parisbytrain.com and read about the mauve t tickets.. pretty confusing the slight differences between them and the t+ tickets. Think I will leave it to others to answer.. or suggest you look in the sight I posted. It does make it clear that there are some differences, but it appears you can transfer on SOME lines with t ticket.. and other methods with t+ tickets.. ugh.. I am sure you will be able to figure it out better then I since you are in transport!
Thanks for that reply, Pat. I had a look around the website after reading about the tickets.
The website is pretty much out of date, isn't it? I followed their link to the Eurostar timetable and noticed that the timetable they show is from 2008. That's so last decade!!
Hi Nigel, the purple tickets are still good, however you have to exchange them (for free) against white tickets at a counter. Even green and yellow tickets are still good. They won't work in the turnstiles, but you can exchange them for free.
Thanks very much, Rif - just what I needed...
