Purchase Air Mattress in Paris

Greetings,

I have rented an apartment in Paris for a few months and several friends are joining me. I will need to purchase an air mattress to accommodate my guests. I have informed the landlord of the guests, so that will not be an issue. The apartment only has 2 double beds, and the landlord cannot make additional beds available. The couch is more of a love seat and can't be used for sleeping.

Needing recommendations on an store in the 16e where I can buy an air mattress, and recommendations on where I can possibly donate it once i am done with it. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Another vote for Decathlon for purchase.

You can donate it at Emmaus when you are done - they have locations all over the city, there is sure to be a shop where you can drop it off not far from you.

Will the friends who will have to sleep on the air mattress be given that information before they arrive? I personally don't want to ever have to sleep on one again!

You would be surprised what people are willing to sleep on for no-cost lodging in Paris .....

On my first trip to Europe, I remember saying that I could sleep when I got back home!

Most good quality air mattresses come with multiple sets of chambers and integral pumps. i have one that's 18" deep and will easily hold 500 lbs of humans with comfort. Fits perfect in a deep Queen fitted sheet too.

You may also want to check the large (Walmart sized) Carrefour stores also.

The landlord didn't have a suggestion?

A bit surprised there isn't a zoning or fire code issue with 'extra' occupants.

If it is a good one, they are quite comfortable; just have to get used to being so close to the floor.
