I will travel to France Monday Oct 7 - Saturday Oct 19. Is there a strike of trains, bus, and Metro in France? If so is it limited to Paris, or all of France? I read there "may be a strike" beginning Oct 9. Any idea on details about strike, duration? Thank you for your help.

EDITED: not seeing news for any train / métro strike. My previous post was misinformed, I was looking at sources from previous years!

The only strikes called during that period, to my knowledge, are those by Transavia pilots.

Hmmm... Balso, could you give more info? Oct 12 is a Sat? I don’t see that listed on C’est la Greve but my French is nonexistent so I might be missing something.

There was something planned for late September ... and possibly December 5 (I remember that date because we are flying in to CDG that day.)
