PSA: French train ticket sales open on 3 November for travel until 22 March 2022

Hi,
For those of you who are planning to travel in France after the train timetable change on 11 December, I just received the news that ticket sales for TGV ("Inoui") and intercity train travel between 12 Dec and 2 Jan will open on Wednesday, 6 October early morning (so probably around midnight EST on 5 October).
And Ouigo sales up to 1 July 2022 will open on the same date.

As a reminder, the earlier you book, the better the fares - and trains around Christmas do get fully booked.

Just received an update: sales for TGV (Inoui) and Intercités train travel until 22nd March 2022 (inclusive) will open on 3rd November, typically early morning French time so around midnight - 1 AM eastern.
Ouigo sales are already open for those dates, but more trains might be released.

Balso, do the sill require the Passe Sanitaire for train travel? In another post here, they said the website had been shut down for the Passe.

As of today, they still do! Checks are random, I have taken 5 trains since August and still haven't been checked, but don't count on that. Travelers on this forum have reported success with their CDC cards, but I haven't seen any accounts of this in the past 2-3 weeks.

I agree with Balso. I have taken numerous trains in France the last two weeks. Not only hasn't my pass been checked but neither have my tickets.

That's not to say you won't be checked.
