Bonjour,
I am travelling with my mother in May and focused on Provence. We have a rough itinerary and have 2 nights (3 days) and I am struggling to pick where to go, and where to stay as everything looks amazing. We are interested in enjoying French lifestyle, history, art, wine. Out route is:
Aix-En-Provence, Carmague, Arles with Pont Du Gard & Uzes, Orange en route to Vaison La Romaine, (insert suggestions HERE) and finishing in L'Isle -sur-la-Sorgue to visit there and close by towns.
My thoughts are:
1. Stay in Vaison-la-Romaine and day trip from there (to...)?
2. Travel from Vaison-la-Romaine through Mnt Ventoux and stay in Forcalquier (or farther west) with one day sightseeing from there, then on to L'isle-sur-la Sorgue?
3. Travel back via Avignon and extend in L'isle-sur-la Sorgue for more day trips from there?
Or other suggestions? I like the idea of not having to move as much... Good decisions to make:)
