Provence Restaurant recommendations

Bon Jour!

Long time lurker. 2nd time poster. I am hoping this community will be willing to help me.

I am (we are) headed to Provence in mid-October (anniversary trip).

My predicament (and the reason for the ask for recommendations) is this..... I've been looking at a lot of the restaurant menus, and they seem to be loaded with many items that are not going to sit well with my dear wife. Seafood (of any kind), rabbit, lamb, veal, mushrooms, foie gras, "eclectic" cuts of beef, etc. are all persona non grata with her. She is much more attuned to steak frites, chicken (provided no mushrooms), pasta, vegetables, cheese.....these are all on the "good" list.

I am hoping that there are some kind, wise and seasoned Provence travelers on this board who could suggest some restaurants that might offer a menu that accommodates both of us? We are staying in the St. Remy area but will be day tripping around ... so any places in 10-20 mile distance would be appreciated (we have a car).

Also if anyone would be willing to weigh in on the current anniversary dinner finalists between Les Chateau Des Alpilles vs. Les Viviers ... I'm all ears.

Many thanks in advance.

You described my wife's eating preferences too! We both really enjoy a restaurant in Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue called Umami https://www.restaurant-umami.fr/.
We have stayed in this little town on two separate vacations, and will hopefully be going there again in the near future. Each trip we ate at this restaurant at least twice, and it will be our first dinner stop on our next trip! Enjoy.
