I am a member of another group and have reached out to a photographer to take some pics while we are there. Is there a way to check and make sure they are legit before I like actually pay them?

The same way you would check services at home. Word of mouth on forums like this (but you will need to give more details, including the name of the photographer) or online reviews. Try googling the photographer and see if there are any reviews.

I will try and google. He did give an Instagram page and website. ramialwan.com. Thank you for your reply ☺️

Update: did a quick google search and he seems to have lots of good reviews 🙌🏼
