Private Transfer Recommendations?

SNCF is a good company for travel between Paris and Bayeux.

What does private transfer mean? Take the high speed train roundtrip mentioned above. Simple and easy.

We'd probably like to stay a bit closer to MSM (maybe even on the island) and that seems to be tricky to get to using public transit.

Are you wanting private transfer to Bayeux or Mont St Michel? They are an hour and a half from each other.

We’re not sure yet. We’d love to stay one night close to MSM, but it may not be in the cards.
If that’s true, we may look at Bayeux next.

You do know that round trip will cost at least 500€ and more like 750€, right? How many people? Try contacting Shuttle Inter. I’ve used them for airport transfers and I know that they do trips to Normandy for around 500€ for up to four people.

If you plan to go to Mont-Saint-Michel it would have been helpful if you had asked about that insted of how to get to Bayeux.

But, finding a transfer company will be a waste of both time and money. Start by taking the TGV to Dol De Bretagne, there are a few direct daily trains and more that involve a change in Rennes. In terms of travel time it is hard for a car to beat a 320 km/h train.

Is there a way to see this route you suggest on something like Rome2Rio?

Then you can add a stop in Bayeux on the way there or on the way home. Use SNCF, www.sncf-connect.com, to find train schedules.

if you use Rome2Rio (I don't) I'm sure you could put in the two or three places and see it.
