My mom, sister and I will be arriving in Breisach on a Viking Christmas Market cruise. We are wanting a guide to meet us at the dock, drive us to Colmar and help show us around for the day before returning to our ship that evening. OR just a private driver to make sure we get to Colmar & back to the dock.

We have toured that area several times and the one place we won’t return to is Colmar. We did not care for it at all. Choose another place to visit.

Suki, your response is terribly dismissive. I would love to know how long you were in Colmar? Also, how long ago? I'm sorry you hated it so much.
Angela, I spent a week in Colmar 3 years ago. The town and surrounding villages are lovely. Once you are in town, it is very easy to walk around the old town to the museums, shops, churches and La Petite Venise.
I don't know about a Breisach based guide, but I used L'Alsaciette during my stay. They are based in Colmar. Perhaps Agnes and Arnaud could arrange something for you.

Suki, four million people travel to Colmar every year, so there must be something to like there. I've visited the Christmas markets there on several different occasions and found the town lovely and full of festive cheer during the Christmas season.
I'm sorry I can't help with your query, Angela, but do try to visit Colmar.
