Hi,
My husband and I will be joining the Loire to the South of France in 13 Days tour in May next year.
We are planning to hire a private driver and guide during our free afternoon in Arles to visit
1. St. Paul Monastery and Hospital in St-Remy-de-Provence
2. The Carrières des Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence (Next year, it appears unlikely that this will be part of the group tour. We are keeping our fingers crossed.)
Can anyone recommend any guide and driver they liked or offer any advice on how to go about this?
Is it better to arrange the afternoon trip through the hotel we will be staying in Arles, or should we contact local guides directly?
