Private driver/shuttle for trip from Bayeux to Mont. St. Michel

Hello. Can anyone recommend a private driver etc. to take two adults from Bayeux to Mont. St. Michel for one day? Nothing is available the one day we can go. Really had our heart set on visiting before we leave to go back to Paris. Thanks.

Have you checked with your hotel/ band b host? Maybe they can recommend someone. When will this be? Are you there now?

Hello. We haven't chosen an AirBnb yet. Not going to stay in a hotel this trip as they're pretty much completely full. No, won't be there until the third week of Sept. Thanks.

Can recommend great b and b if needed Villa Aggarthi in Bayeau. Also check HQCompany tours. We had a private tour with them for Normandy beaches and I think they also do a tour of just Mont St. Michel.

The Churchill hotel in Bayeux offers a daily shuttle to and from MSM. It's a short stop, though. You could try some of the usual 3rd party resellers for day tours- Viator, Get Your Guide, TripAdvisor. A private car and driver for a whole day would be expensive.

Thanks. Villa Aggarthi has no availability. Yes, we looked at the tour leaving from Hotel Churchill, tbh it doesn't give us the amount of time we would like. Had thought about renting a car for the day but those seem to be all rented for the day as well. Also checked with various tour groups such as Viator, etc. Extremely expensive. Some wanted over $800 for two people. Others only give you a few hours in Mont. St. Michel.

Here is my suggestion since you said "before we leave to go back to Paris." Take the train from Paris to Rennes. Pick up a rental car and drive to MSM. We stayed the night in Pontorson, then drove to Bayeux the next day. Then drop the car off in Bayeux or Caen and return to Paris. We used Enterprise. The drop off fee for a different return location wasn't very expensive.

Sorry, this is not a driver from Bayeux recommendation, but an alternative suggestion.

At the end of your stay in Bayeux take the train to La Caserne/MSM in the morning. Taxi or shuttle to MSM (not sure how with the new causway open since our trip). Drop your bags at your hotel on MSM. Spend the day and evening on MSM. Train to Paris the next morning.

We did this via a car trip through Normandy abut 10 years ago. Stayed in La Caserne rather than on MSM. Will stay on MSM next time. Drove from MSM to Chartres for a night on the way back to Paris.
