We are looking at trying to find a car service or driver that would drive us to all the night sights we would like to see - and hang if we grab a glass of wine somewhere - does anyone know of any companies that do this? Is Uber an option? Speaking of Uber - is it pretty easy to use in Paris?

Rick Steves in his Paris guidebook recommends using a taxi. He even outlines the tour route he recommends. He also discusses the "Deux Chevaux" tours which I've been meaning to take. DOyou have the book?

For next year, the Paris book will add this info about using Uber for that purpose:
If you enjoy Uber, this is a far better deal than going by taxi. Drivers are fun-loving and you’ll save about 20 percent. When ordering your car via the app, you can leave the destination blank, or just choose a random address and then explain your plan when the driver arrives. This is a great gig for an Uber driver and they still make money when you stop and hop out, so that’s no problem. And if you win your driver's friendship, he or she will happily snap photos of you at various stops.
