Private Car Service in Paris

This is our first time in Paris and we are looking for Private car services from CDG to our hotel and then from our hotel to the train station. Any recommendations would be great!

You want something other than a taxi? Correct? You hotel probably has recommendations if you ask.

Shuttle Inter is my shuttle recommendation. Is there a reason why a regular taxi will not work for you? I like Shuttle Inter and have used them with no problems but another option would be to have the hotel make the arrangements.

My strong recommendation would be a taxi from the official taxi queue. Only taxis have access to the HOV/Bus lanes in Paris and that alone can save you a lot of time in traffic.

We used Victors car service when we were in Paris. We're going again in May, and we will use them again. Met us with a sign at the ground service area at CDG. Very comforting to know they were right there since it was our first time in Paris. Not sure how their prices compare to a taxi, but they were very professional, and I'll use them again.

rpeters, how much is the car service you used? The taxi is a flat rate (50E to Right Bank, 55E to Left Bank).

@ Pam, in case rpeters does not reply Victor Cabs charges 70€ For two people (90€ for four) for the transfer to Paris from CDG and 60€ for two (80€ for four) for the Orly to Paris trip. I looked at them but used Shuttle Inter because they charge less for four people (65€).

Highly recommend Paris Transvan. We have used them for years for our travel from the airport to hotel. Very reasonable. Their site is http://www.paris-transvan.com/

For car service from the hotel to train - we just have the hotel help us with a taxi - or depending where you are staying, you usually can grab a taxi pretty easily..

I suppose that a good place to start would be to know where your hotel will be - then the right advice can be given. Maybe, depending on which train station you need and where your hotel is - you might be able to walk to the station.

If you don't know which station you need, where is your destination and we will be able to figure it out - every station serves only a portion of the country and there is little duplication.
