We are spending one day in Cannes in June and would like to spend a good portion of the day at the beach. For chairs, umbrellas and facilities, we'd like to reserve space at a private beach club.
a) Any specific recommendations for Beach Clubs you love in Croisette Beach or near Place du Midi?
b) Did you have luck making a reservation, and if so, how far in advance? I'm struggling to find places that are accepting reservations.
c) Or did it work okay to just walk up on the day-of and ask to reserve space?
Any other helpful information? I prefer to have a plan so we can make the most of our day.

I’ve not been to Cannes but have been to beach clubs in Antibes, Nice, and Cap Ferrari. You do need reservations in the summer - I can’t speak to June (and maybe it’s less essential then as families won’t be on holiday), but in July and August, they are essential in these busy areas (I assume Cannes is no different). My experience has been that many beach clubs do not offer online reservations and you need to call - so you need to wait till they are open in the summer. One week in advance should be sufficient. I imagine even ones with online booking aren’t taking reservations yet given that these businesses are closed for the winter. Check back closer to the time of your trip.
