Has anyone visited the Prince's car collection in Monaco? Just wondering what you thought of it, was it worth the trip? Any difficulty getting there via public transportation? thanks!

The website says it's five minutes from the train station. You can pretty much walk all over Monaco to see the sights. I've been to the palace but didn't know about the car collection. ;)

For the 6,50€ entrance fee to my opinion certainly worth a visit.

I've actually been all over Monaco, many times.
I'm a fairly competent walker and I know Monaco and its system of tunnels, escalators and lifts like the back of my hand, and there is no way I could get to the Car Collection - don't call it a Museum, the Prince doesn't like that - in 5 minutes from the station. It would take at least double that, and 5 more if you are new to Monaco or if you stop for a gelato or something.
That said, it is a very interesting collection, well signed and well laid out. My favourite was Princess Grace's beach runabout.

Thanks for your responses. I think we'll try to do it. My friend and I both love cars and I think this will be a very cool experience.
