I have some cash from a previous trip & would prefer not to get more while in the airport. I may take a taxi into the city & wonder if I have enough Euros.
Official flat rate is fifty euros to the Right Bank (north of the river) and fifty-five euros to the Left Bank (south of the river).
Curious, there are bank cash machines at CDG, not just Travelex. Is there a reason you don't want to get cash at CDG? For example, do you prefer a certain bank's cash machines like BNP Paribas which isn't at CDG?
Thank you, Phillip.
To Continental - I just don't want to.
You can usually use a credit card if you are short on Euros. Many cabbies will accept that sort of payment, but it would be prudent to ask the dispatcher and or the driver before getting in the cab.
If you don’t have enough euros you can always take the metro, unless you have a lot of luggage. As I recall, it was reasonable.
Thanks everyone. I have more than enough Euros. I usually do Roissy bus and metro, but may take a taxi this time.
