From Le Parisien (in French) -- the price of several paper tickets is set to rise on 1 November:
- Carnet of 10 t+ tickets, from €14.90 to €16.90
- Orlybus tickets, from €8.30 to €9.50
- Roissybus tickets, from €12.00 to €13.70
Note that:
- There is no increase if any of these tickets are purchased on a Navigo Easy card. (There is also no increase if they are purchased via smartphone or Navigo Liberté, but smartphone payment is currently a limited trial and Navigo Liberté is limited to Ile-de-France workers or residents, so not relevant to the majority of posters here.)
- There is no price increase for individual t+ tickets in any form, which remain at €1.90 a ticket. All other fares (such as Navigo monthly and weekly fares) will similarly stay frozen until at least 2020.
Note that there's a one-time €2 fee for a Navigo Easy card; and that a carnet of paper tickets and a "virtual carnet" loaded onto the Navigo aren't totally equivalent, because a Navigo Easy card cannot be used simultaneously by multiple riders, though it can be used by different riders at different times, while a carnet of 10 paper tickets can be distributed to multiple riders at the same time.
