Hello, I was looking on the official site for the Eiffel Tower and I can see that you are able to purchase tickets for the lifts to the top and the second level, we are all physically able to take the stairs and I was hoping we could pre-purchase those tickets, but I can't locate that option on the site. Are those tickets only available for purchase once on site?

Unfortunately you cannot purchase stairs only tickets in advance online.
Keep in mind that there are over 700 stairs to the second level. Once on the second level, you can buy tickets to the summit if you so choose.

If you change your mind about climbing all those stairs, you'll want to book your tickets 92 days in advance.
Thank you Priscilla based on your advice, I bought tickets to the summit in advance for the day/time we wanted.
FWIW If someone really does want to make the climb you can buy the elevator ticket to the top when you buy the stair tickets so you don't have to line up a second time at the top. The stair line is usually fairly short. They sell a combo ticket -- something like 7 for the stairs and then another 6 for the elevator from level 2 to the top.
