Possible car rental solution in Bayeux

On a recent trip to Bayeux when our car rental in Caen fell through (apparently the guy at the Alamo/Enterprise there doesn't really care if people make reservations and several people left without cars that day -- proceed with caution!), I did some deeper dives into alternative options and discovered what seems to be Normandy's answer to Zipcar/carshare. We wound up abandoning our car-based plans so I didn't try it myself, but I wanted to let others know it's an alternative to traditional car rentals that might be worth exploring, especially if you just want a car for a day or so to get to places further afield:

If someone tries it, I hope they'll report their experience.

Thanks for the tip. I wonder if other Renault dealerships rent out used cars? The E.Leclerc supermarket is also listed on your website for rentals. Indeed, the large supermarkets, Carrefour, E. Leclerc and perhaps others, have car rentals available. For July and August, they are booked waaaay in advance by locals.

The no cars available happened to us twice in the US; in DC at National airport, and at Indianapolis airport at Christmas. People didn't return their rentals on time for the agencies to honor the reservations. There were long lines at the airport. One August in France, we got the last lemon left at Orly when cars are rented by Parisians for their vacations. No other dealer had any cars available. July! August! Beware!
