Pont du Gard ticket (just admission, not for guided tour, or the museum etc.)

Hi

https://pontdugard.fr/en/getting-here then "Prices" on this web page, it listed converting parking to ticket; guided tours for groups, etc.

  1. Where do I find the information for just regular admission for 3 adults? Due to language issue for my senior parents, we will not be visiting the Museum, Cinema, Ludo Centre, Temp exhibition? We just want to visit the Pont du Gard itself. Or is it even possible without a guided tour?
  2. Also do I have to buy online or I can buy at the Tourist Center by the Pont du Gard location?

Thank you in advance.

There is no fee to enter the park for the Pont du Gard. I was there with a small group in September and our guides only paid for parking.

From the website:
The Pont du Gard site is entirely pedestrian and open to visitors on foot or cyclists. We recommend that you wear good walking shoes suitable for discovering the natural and cultural site of the Pont du Gard. Only parking, entrance to the educational areas and guided tours and workshops are subject to entrance fees.

I was there last week. The Park is free and maybe since it was out of season, nothing else was available. It was a beautiful day.

FYI: I went by public bus so options were 845 in the AM or 1130AM or 115PM. Took the 845 bus and was at the site almost by myself except for the other pax on the bus. 1130 started with the crowds and 130 is when the tour buses come. No people in the my photos since there were almost no people there at 930 and it was a Saturday.

Language issues? Does that mean they don't speak French or English? The museum did have signage in english and is very interesting. We enjoyed it much more than the actual bridge, which we thought was a photo op from multiple angles and nothing more.

Thank you @janet_kupfer for your report. I may might on May 19 (Whit Sun) a holiday; probably will be busy. Oh well, will try to get there early.

Below is the 2024 schedule for Bus 115 (as per Pont du Gard website info).

If I take the 8:45am bus (LaD column, 3rd column on page 2) from Avignon then I get off at the stop "Rond Point Pont du Gard" around 9:21 as per schedule. Is that the right stop? How far is it from there to the entrance?

Thank you @Allan for sharing your take on the Pont du Gard "sites".
Yes for my parents simple stuff is fine in English (though not fluent like us) and a few words in French. It's not that they don't appreciate history or antiquity but reading such subjects are a bit more challenging.
