Plum guide or Paris attitude for vacation rental

Has anyone rented through Plum guide or Paris attitude? Would you recommend them? I usually use homeaway for vacation rentals but I am tired of having to sort through the legal and illegal rentals that are posted for Paris. I spoke with a representative of Plum guide who said they vet all their properties and they all are high quality and legal. I would be interested in any experience others have had with either of these agencies.

Plum guide;

Of course they're going to tell you all their apartments are legal. It's in their interest and they bear no responsibility if the listing is not legal. They are only website hosts or a rental platform and own none of the properties. The only way you can tell if an apartment is legal is by continuing, as you have been doing, sorting through the listings looking for the 13 digit registration number starting with 75. Tedious I know.

Tocard reported on another thread that Booking.com has consented to list only legal apartments, so you might try there.

Actually all of their listings that I looked at had the 13 number registration number so they are legit. I am just wondering if anyone has rented through them. I know I would pay a fee to them. According to their website it could be up to 14.4 percent, which sounds a little high but the properties they have listed look nice. I’m wondering if it is worth the fee.

hey kathy
i don't know about the plum guide, heard stories about paris attitude, not good. a couple others you can check are cross-pollinate.com or alcove&agapes.com. since the big pow wow with short term rentals all over europe, it's frustrating. we used cross-pollinate with no issues last year. we also used a 2 bed/1 bath in paris in the 7th last year thru trip advisor. hope this can help you find something.

Thank you. I also saw some bad reviews for Paris attitude. Plum guide is very new. They started in London last year and have expanded into Paris within the last six months. They have received great reviews and were written up in the New York Times and Harpers bazaar. I will check out the other two sites you have suggested. I am looking for a 2 bed 1 bath apartment centrally located. Would you mind private messaging me the one you found on trip advisor?
