Hi! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using the plum guide properties in Paris? I have found one that looks very good but I am not sure because they do not have any reviews. Thanks for any assistance!
I’ve read reviews, I wouldn’t book with them. I have no personal experience but based on the reviews I would stay far away
I have no personal experience but here's an interesting review over on the Trip Advisor Paris Forum.

Personally, I wouldn't consider an apartment rental that doesn't have reviews yet. Too risky for me.
Martin, we used them three summers ago in London and everything was fine. Very unique house with an annex in a fantastic location.
Sorry, but can't vouch for their Paris rentals.
Bonne chance.
I am done. The end.
If an apartment is offered without the government required 13 digit registration number beginning with 75, a Plum Guide rating, or lack thereof, might be the least of your problems.
I reserved what seemed like an ideal spot in Paris through Plum Guide several weeks ago but am now cancelling. Things started to not add up. The receipt we got for the deposit didn't disclose the street address (as has always been provided by VRBO and AirBnB in my experience). The map on the web page indicated it was located very close to the Luxembourg Garden. When we asked for more detail, Plum Guide directed us to the owner. The owner told us it was in a building that also housed an art gallery. When I looked it up there was no such gallery, just a sort of art impresario who staged periodic short-term exhibits in scattered locations. When we pressed Plum Guide, they "opened a case" with the owner and assured us we could cancel & get a refund if we weren't satisfied (we are well ahead of the full-refund cancellation date). The owner said she would give us "the precise location" and then sent us (I am not making this up) latitude and longitude coordinates that corresponded to the Eiffel Tower! She then gave us a street address that she said housed an eye doctor clinic on the ground floor. It was an actual address, but it was a 20-minute walk from Luxembourg Garden. Google Maps provided a photo that showed only a vacant storefront. By this time the owner, apparently getting fed up with us, suggested we simply cancel as she had "a lot of demand" for the property. So that's what we are doing. All of this is ridiculously obvious now, but it all happened over the course of about 48 hours and I honestly had a hard time believing what was I was seeing.
Perhaps the best lesson from all this: never rent from an agency that refuses to publish customer reviews and doesn't provide reviews of the owner/manager.
"and then sent us (I am not making this up) latitude and longitude coordinates that corresponded to the Eiffel Tower!"
@Blattner - Oh my word...I'm so sorry for your problems but seriously I laughed out loud at your above statement. I am sure looking back (and having gotten your refund) that you laughed as well but What the Heck?? Thanks for sharing your experience!
Pam, all this has happened in the last two days! So I haven't gotten into "hindsight" mode yet. Actually it was stumbling onto this thread yesterday that crystallized what was happening and finally made me realize I needed to stop hoping for the best and take action.
