Hey guys
I'm taking a 6 day trip to Paris. I know its short, but hey what can you do!?
So, I've been to paris multiple times, but this time my wife and I want to do some other cities.
What would you recommend as a tour for 6 days outside of Paris?

Loire Valley? Normandy? Burgandy? Oh, there are so many great places! Maybe pull up some of Rick's France tv shows here on the website and see which area is calling to you.
Have a great trip. We are heading to Paris in less than a month and can't wait!!

If you do go to Alsace, on the way back be sure to stop in Nancy. It's a gem that's off the tourist radar, with a breathtaking main square (Place Stanislas). If you like Art Nouveau or fancy glassware, it's a must.
My favorite place in France outside Paris is Lyon, easily worth a few days. Rick's France book has a very good chapter on it.
