Planning a trip from Paris to Bayeux

Hello!

I am traveling from Paris to Bayeux for a two-day tour with Overlord. The tour ends at 6 pm, and I need to get back to Paris for a flight at 11:15 am. I was thinking I'd take a train to Paris in the evening after the tour and sleep at a hotel near the train station. This would allow me to take a taxi early next morning to get a flight back to Chicago at 11:15 am.

Does this seem like it would work? I'm a first-time traveler, don't speak French, and will be solo. I'm aware that there are train issues (strikes, cancellations) at times, and I don't want to get stuck. Also, is it reasonable to think I can walk from the train station to a nearby hotel late at night.

If it was me, I would taxi from train to hotel.at airport the night before your flight. Just be certain to get an official taxi from.train. there are sevedal.hotels that connect to airport or have transport to airport. Best of travels.

What Gail said. You will arrive in Paris a bit late to do anything in the city. Just take a taxi from the train station the night before your flight and stay at a hotel at the airport. You will need to be at the airport about 3 hours before your flight out, so make that morning easy on yourself. Taxi will be a fixed rate.
