Place du Président Mithouard, Paris

Hello,

I'm looking to rent an apartment for a week in Paris over new years. The one I'm looking at is at Place du Président Mithouard, Paris. Since I'm only going to be in Paris a few days I would like something very central. Do you think this is a walkable location to the Louve and Saint Germain or would you recommend taking public transportation. Thank you!

It would be a pretty long walk to the Louvre, especially in winter. A little closer to St-Germain Church and its neighborhood. But very handy to the 13 and 10 Metro lines which will get you to those and many other places quickly. From Google Earth street view, it looks like a nice block, right across from St-Francis Xavier Church, but without a lot of restaurants and stores right nearby.

It's close to a three mile walk to the Louvre, I would probably take the metro. Pretty easy, the stop Saint-Francois-Xavier is close to the apartment so it would be line 13 change at Champs-Elysees - Clemenceau
to line 1 get off @ Louvre-Rivoli.
I think the weather will decide how much walking you will do.
