Bayonne is in France. pinxtos are typically Spanish.
However, there are a number of pinxto places in Bayonne:

There are also good French restaurants - one of the pleasures is wandering round and making your choice.
We were there the September before last, and found we did not need to book.

Heh, yes, I know where Bayonne is. My France Lonely Planet guide recommended Basque pintxos in Bayonne--hence my question. (I'll be doing a day trip to San Sebastian, too, and I know that's a great food location!) Thanks!
