We fly into Paris on a Sunday. After examining the list of pharmacies providing the health pass, I've noticed that no pharmacies appear to be open on Sunday. However, the pharmacies listed at CDG airport do not indicate hours. I hope this means they at least will be open when we land. Can anyone confirm what the CDG pharmacy situation is like, whether the pharmacies are open, if one location within CDG is preferable to another and how much time we should expect to take getting our passes.
We are only visiting one venue that day. I don't suppose they would accept our vaccine cards in lieu of the pass...
The pharmacy (2F) at CDG is open on Sundays until 8 PM.
Not sure where you're referencing that participating pharmacies are not open on Sunday, but here are just a few of those I found:
Pharmacie Bader
12 Boulevard Saint-Michel, 75006 Paris
Pharmacie Bastille
6 Rue Richard Lenoir,75011, Paris
Pharmacie Ramadan
43 Avenue du Maine,75014, Paris
Pharmavance Mairie Du 10
90 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin,75010, Paris
If you are staying in Paris, there is no overwhelming need to obtain a pass sanitaire the moment you arrive. The CDC cards you used to initially board your Paris arriving aircraft work fine for entry into museums, trains, cafés, and restaurants.
There is always a pharmacy open in every neighborhood on Sunday -- if they don't do the pass they should be able to indicate an open pharmacy that does -- or just wait till Monday and get it then.
Good point etmills! We are flying into CDG on Sat and may not have time to get it before we board our train to Colmar. The pharmacies in Colmar seem to close at 7pm and don't open on Sunday. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Colmar or Strasbourg that is open on Sunday?
This is for AmandaR.
Pharmacies aren't normally open on Sundays in smaller cities. There is one pharmacy designated for emergencies on Sundays called a pharmacie de garde. Next, will this be a pharmacy that converts cards to the Pass, and will this pharmacy consider converting a CDC card to a Pass an emergency? It's a gamble.
Your other choice is a later train.
Thanks for the info, Bets!
AmandaR: If your train to Colman is departing from Gare de L’est, there is a pharmacie inside the train station. It appears that it is open on Sunday, 9am-7:30pm.
Hall Gare de l’est, 4 Rue du 8 Mai 1945, 75010 Paris, France
When we arrived in Paris the other day, I got my pass at Pharmacie de la Gare du Nord. I just walked in, no lines, no waiting. Took less than five minutes, they charged 36 euros. Hope this helps.
Interesting Kerouac! Pappilion, we leave from CDG but thanks for the help!
