We lost our way in the Louvre on our last trip and want to avoid that disaster this time. We hope to find an affordable small or private tour of the Louvre lasting no more than 2 hours. We do not want to see the Mona Lisa. Could you suggest where we might look for such a tour or tour guide?

Paris Walks usually offers a small group tour of the Louvre about once a week. In April and May, it is scheduled on Fridays. They usually post their walk schedule about 2 months out. Their walk schedule for the next couple of months is on their website:

We had a private tour with Paris Muse. They have many options for personalized tours and knew how to make the most of our time. Highly recommend.

If Carine cannot accommodate you, she can refer you to someone. There are a group of guides who are friends who refer to each other. We have toured the Louvre with a couple of them.
