Pentecost and Whit Monday holidays in France

Just noticed we'll be in France (Lyon) during these two holidays (May 28 & 29). Some online research leads me to believe that many businesses will be closed on Whit Monday. Is that still true? Including restaurants and other attractions? Any info you can provide is appreciated.

Whit Monday is the most minor of minor holidays. Most businesses should be open like on normal Mondays (Mondays being a typical closing days for restaurants anyway).
