Hello again! Planning for our trip to France next month and we will need a PCR test within 72 hours of our departure from France to return to Canada. I see testing is available at the airports however I'd prefer to have this done in Paris to avoid having to go to the airport 2-3 days prior to departure. Does anyone know where paid tests can be done? I was hoping to book an appointment in advance. Thank you!

Everyone has been reporting that multiple Pharmacies throughout Paris and tents being set up outside certain locations, Palais Garnier (Opera) for example, have been providing the PCR and or Antigen testing. I plan on checking the testing hours at a few Pharmacies near the apartment I am staying at, since I will be getting tested on a Sunday for my return to the U.S.. I too wish to avoid CDG prior to my departure date.
The Points Guy detailed his experience in June: https://www.google.com/amp/s/thepointsguy.com/news/covid-19-test-france/amp/
Your hotel or apartment can probably give you some options. It shouldn’t be hard to find a test in Paris. We were recently in Costa Rica and had no problems, even in a smaller town.
I would be careful, as it’s my impression that the easy-access tents set up by pharmacies all over Paris only offer antigen tests.
I would check to be sure that whatever you are considering offers a PCR test, if you truly need one (travelers to the States only need antigen; since you have mentioned Canada, I am sure you know the testing requirements for your country.).
You can go to the Doctolib website (in French) to preschedule an appointment. PCR tests are €49 for foreigners.
