Does anyone have a favorite restaurant with a nice atmosphere in the old town of Nice for a pasta dinner?
I'm not certain what you mean as a "nice" atmosphere, as that can mean different things to many people (nice atmosphere could mean more formal, quaint, romantic, lively).
Archiarddo is a long-standing family run restaurant with Italian and Nicoise cuisine. La Voglia is close to the market and is in a larger, more modern space (their beach restaurant, le Galet, has good food). Di Piu is close to the water and like by some..
A very good choice that is not strictly Italian is Bar des OIseuex, where pastas feature prominently. It is French and pan-mediterranean, in the more cute category. The restaurant owner has a series of places that are well-like by locals for both quality and price.
I'm glad to see these too, Gooster, because I'm not really a restaurant type in Nice. Thanks
Thanks so much! I will check them all out—
Thanks, Gooster! I’m happy to hear your recommendations, too, as we are heading to Nice next month.

Best lasagna I've ever had was here. https://lu-francalin.fr/
You are welcome. Just to note, I restricted myself to one category in one area of Nice; there are many very good Italian places outside of the Old Town as well, depending on the neighborhood. (And there are some less than average places, like the ones on Place Rosetti in Old Town). .
