Passion Monument and tickets for specific sites—just to verify

Yes, more questions! Thanks for your patience with this — I just want to verify I’m understanding this correctly. With the pass in Paris:
1) I must still book timed tickets in advance for climbing the Notre Dame towers; visiting Saint Chapelle
2) I can book timed tickets in advance for the Pantheon with Panorama
3) I can just show up without a pre-booked timed ticket for Conciergerie, Hotel de la Marine, other more “minor” sites
4) I can just show up without a pre-booked timed ticket to climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe????

Not needing to pre book a time for the Arc de Triomphe seems odd. We will be visiting during the height of high season (June) and I would assume only a certain number of people would be allowed to climb at any given time…..so how could that work? On the website I can do a mock ticketing and get all the way through selection of number of tickets, date, time, etc to the page listing the cost and asking me to sign in or create an account without seeing an option for the Passion Monument pass. I suppose I could create an account and see if the option shows up after that. I don’t want to end up disappointed and not being able to do the climb because I don’t have a reserved time.

(I haven’t actually purchased the pass yet but will probably do so next month so I have it in advance of the Notre Dame tower tickets becoming available)

Thank you!

Yes to all your questions.

However, a huge advantage of the Passion Monuments Subscription is the special benefits, not just the savings in money.

Definitely prebook the Towers of Notre Dame and Saint Chappelle in advance.

I would prebook the other bookable sites online prior to arrival, even if you book the same day.

Prebooking the Pantheon and Panorama allows you to skip the ticket line and use the entrance for Passholders. If you are only going to the Pantheon (not the Panorama) you can not prebook. You skip the ticket line and present your Pass to ticket control.

I did not use the Pass at the Conciergerie, but prebooking might allow you to be moved to the head of the security line. At Sainte-Chapelle, I showed my ticket and Pass to the guard and he opened the security rope allowing me to get ahead of a long line of people.

The Arc de Triomphe does not allow prebooking for Passholders. Go directly to the security line. As long as the monument is open, you will be allowed to climb.

Although I prebooked Hotel de la Marine, it wasn't necessary for my April 2025 visit and providef no advantages regarding lines.

The Pass is valid for 1 year from date of purchase.

Don't forget there are also bookstore/gift shop discounts.

I was able to see Saint Chapelle without a prebooked time last fall, using my PM pass. Although it's not clear from the website, there IS a "without bookings" line. I was staying very close to there, so it wasn't a big deal for me to just take the chance, and I didn't have to wait long at all. However, I wouldn't advise taking that chance during peak season (although Paris is always busy now, it seems).

I spent a month in Paris last year, from mid-September to mid-October. The only thing I booked in advance was the Notre Dame tower. Everything else I was able to just show up when I wanted to and never had to stand in a line for long and sometimes not at all. It was very freeing to be spontaneous every day. I also joined the Friends of the Louvre and got the Carte Blanche so I could do the same for the Louvre. Musee d’Orsay and the Orangerie. I was able to access those museums as often as I liked with minimal waits.

As of last May, no pre-booking needed for Saint Chapelle. There will be two lines, one for people with tickets for the next hour & one for the next half hour. Just go to the area by the front of those lines & show your pass and the attendant will let you in. Of course, I didn’t realize this until we were leaving and did pre-book, but because of the timed entry and dual line set up, we really didn’t wait too long. It really It’s really spectacular…enjoy!

To clarify MaggieD's response, no pre-booking needed with the Monuments pass. Still needed for purchasers of tickets without the monuments pass.
