Passe Sanitaire in Italy?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the French "Passe Sanitaire" a sufficient substitute for the "Super Green Pass" now required in Italy? We are planning to drive to San Remo for New Years celebrations and want to be properly prepared.

I really do not know this. Several weeks ago I searched for a way to verify if my French pass sanitaire QR code was valid. I came upon Ireland's website and they have a QR code checker on the website. I scanned my paper with my iPhone and it said my QR code was valid. I do not know if this means I could go to Ireland with it but I did find this interesting that it gave me a green checkmark. The reason I did this is because I received our passes before they shut down the website application process. I know in the Tours app for France they have a way to show your QR code as a border crossing. Hope that helps.

the French Passe Sanitaire IS an EU pass.
