Passe Navigo

I purchased a Passe Navigo the last time I was in Paris. I will reload it when I return in May. As I understand it, when I arrive on a Saturday morning, I can reload the pass. But it won't be usable until Monday morning. So I will have to purchase a separate RER B ticket into Paris.

According the the Parisbytrain website, the pass is good until the last Metro run at 0140 Sunday. I think they actually mean 0140 Monday. Yes? I want to use it to take the RER out to CDG on Sunday morning, and I want to make sure the pass is still viable. Thanks.

I think that the Navigo runs from MOnday at 12:01 a.m., until the following Sunday at midnight. So if you purchase (recharge) the Navigo on Saturday morning, it will only be good until Sunday at midnight. It might be less expensive just to buy a separate ticket for the RER on Saturday, and then recharge your Navigo on Monday. Peter

According to the Paris by train website, the Navigo Decouverte weekly pass is valid from Monday at 00:00 till Sunday at 23:59:59,
so you can definitely use the Navigo Pass on the RER to CDG on Sunday morning.

The Navigo decouverte weekly charge expires at midnight on Sunday so you need to be through the turnstile exit on the RER by then. It is good all day Sunday.

You are correct that you can load the pass on Saturday, but won't be able to use it until Monday. I believe if you reload the past on Thursday (maybe it's Friday, not sure) or later, it isn't valid until Monday. Of course if you are in Paris for more than a week and reload the pass each week, you can continue to use the pass without interruption. If you arrive on a Tuesday, you can still load the pass upon arrival and use it until midnight on Sunday, or reload for the following week.

Thursday is the last day to load the pass for the current week; passes loaded Friday and beyond are good for the next week. So you can't load it Friday for the weekend.
